'Raaz - The Mystery Returns' starring Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea will release on January 23rd, 2009. The film, directed by Mohit Suri, stars Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut and Adhyayan Suman. The director claims that it's not a sequel of Mahesh Bhatt's 'Raaz'. He adds that it is a fresh story that actually explores the evil within the human psyche. Indian mythology, where good and evil are interwoven in human nature, according to him, prompted him to do this film. . In this context, he cites the example of the great saint Kabir, who had said that the greatest evils are inside us. So, Suri calls the movie a supernatural thriller dealing with the myths and superstitions that are still widely prevalent in contemporary Indian society. Mahesh Bhatt says, "The film tends to challenge one's beliefs about paranormal phenomena".


Interestingly, serial kisser of Bollywood Emraan Hashmi, has completely transformed himself. In 'Raaz - The Mystery Returns', he plays a clairvoyant artist. And, in his next movie with Kunal Deshmukh, though untitled, he plays a brush-wielding visionary. What a change in image from that of a physical lover to that of an emotional one?
