Dilli 6 and Billoo Barber to release on same day
Abhishek Bachchan's Dilli 6 release may clash with Shah Rukh Khan production, Billoo Barber releasing in January 2009.
News coming in suggests that Dilli 6, starring Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role is to release on the same day as Shah Rukh Khan's Billoo Barber. Both movies are said to release in UK cinemas on 13th February 2009.
With Shah Rukh Khan aggressively promoting Billoo Barber, Abhishek Bachchan will have a tough time competing at the box office. So the director of Dilli 6 may release the film on 23rd January 2009 to avoid this silver screen clash.
But for the time being Abhishek is shooting for director Mani Ratnam's film in Kerala. He will soon be returning to Mumbai to promote his next release Dostana also starring John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra and Bobby Deol.
Meanwhile, Aladin and Ghajani were confirmed to release on 25th December 2008. Since the visual effects for Aladin have not been completed, EROS International has decided to postpone its release for 2009.
