Rahul Vaidya Angry Over Mahatma Gandhi’s statue in Madam Tussauds Wax Museum

Ex-Indian Idol contestant and anchor Rahul Vaidya, who was in London recently for one of his concerts and visited Madam Tussauds Wax Museum, was in for a big shock when he saw some tourists disrespecting Mahatma Gandhi's statue.

It was amazing to see such a fabulous collection. But what broke my heart was the lack of respect shown by the foreigners towards Gandhiji's statue. They were touching his head, playing with his stick and were making fun of his clothes. Some of them were putting their arms around his shoulder too. I was upset to see such disrespect being shown to the statue of the Father of our Nation."
He added, "I then went to the caretaker and told him about the incident and my concern. But instead of stopping the visitors he yelled at me saying 'you don't have to tell me how to take care of statues'. That was another jolt for me. I immediately went back to Gandhiji's statue and touched his feet. I cannot explain how good that felt."

  2. Dude. Get a life. It's a statue. Greater people than that have had much worse things happen to their statue.
