Amitabh Bachchan in talks for a Hollywood project

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has disclosed that he is in talks with an eminent writer from Hollywood for a movie project.

While there is still no sign of Mira Nair’s film Shantaram with the Big B and Johnny Depp starting in near future, the Bollywood megastar is considering some international projects.


One is a French project, while the other is from Hollywood.

Talking about the French project, Big B, who’s presently in Paris with wife Jaya Bachchan , wrote on his blog: “It will be in English, produced and directed by French personnel, those who made ‘March of the Penguin’, the Oscar winner and it will be set in India and France. Perhaps work starts next year end. That is all that one can talk of right now.”

It may be recalled that Big B had done the narration in ‘March of the Penguin’.

Apart from this, there’s another project with a Hollywood writer.

“There is another project from the writer of ‘Taxi Driver’ and ‘Raging Bull’ from Hollywood and I shall need to see the script before I consider any further,” Big B wrote.

As of now, Big B is looking forward to the release of Drona on October 2. The movie stars Abhishek Bachchan as a superhero.
