Rachael Finch is bookies' favourite for Miss Universe
PUNTERS rate Aussie Rachael Finch equal favourite to become Miss Universe.
Betting websites, pageant forums and online polls have all rated the beauty queen as the one to beat for Miss Universe 2009.
She is rating higher than Jennifer Hawkins at the same stage of the pre-judging process before the final, held in the Bahamas on August 23.
Sportingbet Australia has Rachael sitting at equal favourite with Miss Mexico Karla Carrillo at $7.50 last night.
She has eclipsed roommate Miss USA Kristen Dalton, who is seventh on $17.
Miss Costa Rica Jessica Umana sits at third place at $8.50.
Despite the odds, Rachael maintained it was difficult to pick who would be her biggest competition on the night.
"Any one of these women could easily walk away with the title," she said.
Pageant experts on a beauty websites have consistently rated Rachael in the ranks of their top 10.
