Mahua, a Bhojpuri TV channel has launched a yoga programme, Behane Behane by renowned yoga guru Suneel Singh. In this programme, the yoga guru will give a brief demonstration of very effective yoga steps for the overall wellness of the body.

First segment is all about yoga by yoga guru Suneel Singh (six minutes), second segment is a one to one interview with a Bhojpuri singer (12 minutes) and the third segment is of eight minutes where you would be taken to a religious journey of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar temples.

In this programme, the yoga guru will give a brief demonstration but very effective yoga steps for the overall wellness of the body. It is an anchor based programme where conversation is between Ajit Anand (brother-in-law) and Vijaya Bharti (sister-in-law), famous Bhojpuri singer.

For the first time, yoga would be taught and explained in Bhojpuri all over the world by the renowned yoga guru. Yoga guru Suneel Singh is a multifaceted persona. He has been conducting yoga workshops for corporate houses, five star hotels, modelling institutes, bureaucrats and film stars. His yoga teachings are also being telecast by channels like Aaj Tak, Zee News, IBN 7, Star News, Sahara National, Headlines Today, Sahara NCR, Total TV, Janmat (Live India) and DD National. He has been writing yoga articles and columns for magazines like Asia Spa, Vivah, Outlook (Hindi), Eternal Solutions, Arogya Sanjivni, Gati Rang, Swagat and Grehlaxmi etc and newspapers like The Times of India, Financial Express, Hindustan, Amar Ujala, Dainik Jagran, Dainik Bhaskar, Midday and Rashtriya Sahara etc.

The USP of this yoga programme is that in this programme, apart from yoga, the Japanese ’Shiastsu Therapy’ would also be taught.

Singh said that since he belongs to eastern part of UP, it was a dream come true for him working for Mahua channel because directly or indirectly he is promoting yoga and Bhojpuri language, the culture of eastern parts of India.

Creative head of the programme is Partho Dey, producer Malay Mishra and Amit Shrivastava.

IN TODAY’S fast paced world, stress and life-style diseases are on the rise. Besides physical exercise, yoga and pranayama have been reckoned as perfect antidotes to mental stress and associated illness. Since yoga has become an international phenomena, Mahua, a Bhojpuri channel has also brought a new television programme named as meaning early morning. This programme starts at 7:30 am to 8:00 am daily. The programme is divided into three segments.
