Karan Johar Fashion Show HDIL Couture India Fashion Week 2009
Just in case you thought Salman Khan had managed to pull a coup of sorts, Karan Johar showed just who calls the shots in Bollywood. The director-turned-designer had some of the biggest names in the industry cheering for him on the last day of the HDIL India Couture Week. Heck he even got Shah Rukh Khan to walk the ramp and Jaya Bachchan to applaud him! The show saw some interesting bags, jackets, sherwanis and trunks being showcased on the runway. The hot new stars of this generation -- Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor -- opened the show to much applause.

Keanu Reeves notwithstanding the trench coat made saving the world look good in The Matrix. Wonder if the trend will ever catch on here in India?
