Love Sex Aur Dhokla finds The Chosen One
Of all the techniques of casting people in films, watching wedding videos of random people and choosing from the guests is very unusual. Dibakar Banerjee, the director of Love Sex Aur Dhokla did just that. He kept watching the videos to find the lead actress for his film and he’s finally settled on one of the guests. But he feels that it is the most difficult role in the film, as the character has to do many raunchy scenes.
He offered the girl a job in his company and then taught her about filmmaking. She was then enrolled in a three-month workshop for acting. He didn’t mention his desire to cast her in his film and that’s why when she was offered the film, she was surprised but ready. The girl’s identity is being kept under the wraps. All Dibakar reveals is that she is one of the three leads in the film.
