Yes, it's true. Bollywood's Barbie doll, Katrina Kaif admitted that she faked her identity while making entry into the Hindi film industry, and she is not sorry about it too.

This truth came into light when, Ayesha Shroff, actor Jackie Shroff's wife, said in a recent interview that Kat wasn't a Kaif at all and her real name was Katrina Turquotte.

Further, she told that they had changed Kat's name to make her popular in Bollywood.

On the other hand, actress Katrina Kaif finally admitted that her real name is 'Katrina Turquotte' as written on her passport also.

The actress said, "And for people wondering, yes, my passport name is Katrina Turquotte. I changed it because it'll be easier for people to address me. Nothing more."
