Indian supermodel Padma Lakshmi is pregnant
The buzz is that Indian supermodel Padma Lakshmi is pregnant with her first child. The father of the child is her current beau, Manu Nathan. She's been seeing Nathan, who's a lawyer since 2008.
Ace Showbiz online says that the couple is eagerly waiting for their first baby. The low key couple is rarely seen in public together, though they have known each other for years now.
She had set fuel for the speculation that she is pregnant after she walked the red carpet at the Emmy Awards, which took place last week looking fuller than her normal self in a purple backless dress.
The 39-year-old is the ex wife of Booker Prize winning author Salman Rushdie. She had married the much-elder Rushdie in April 2004 and filed for divorce in July 2007.
Looks like Padma is finally headed for true bliss.
