If you believe that Charles Darwin was a staunch supporter of atheism thanks to his work on evolution, then you'll be very surprised by what you see in the movie about his life, Creation, due out in theaters starting September 25.
Darwin's book, On The Evolution of Species, was easily one of the most controversial of its time and continues to be so today. But when he first wrote it, he found himself deeply conflicted between the theories he was discovering and the inherent contradiction to them posed by the love of his life, his deeply religious wife. How could he reconcile these two vastly differing points of view? Check out the trailer.
Darwin's life was a strange study in contrasts, and Creation looks to faithfully replicate these contradictions.
