B Vasantha Kamukara Foundation Award
B Vasantha has been selected by the Kamukara Foundation for an award for her contributions in music.
The Foundation, which has been named after legendary singer, Kamukara Puraskaram, will give the singer a cash prize of Rs.25, 000, a citation and a sculpture in November.
B Vasantha who actually comes from Andhra Pradesh has sung over 3000 songs in all South Indian languages.
