Producer Aascar Ravichandran avoids flashy shows

Gone are the days, when producer Aascar Ravichandran hosted grand celebrations for his films. Who can forget his ‘Dasavatharam’ that had the Titans: Jackie Chan, Amitabh Bacchan, and Mammooty coming together to launch the audio. Later, Surya starrer ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’ was released with grand promotions too.

But, now the scenario has become different with other films. There weren’t any special events to promote his following flicks including ‘Anandha Thandavam’. Probably, lack of publicity resulted in the disastrous results at box office.

Much similarly, Ravichandran continues to stride along with same traits in other films as well. ‘Moscowin Kaveri’ directed by cinematographer Ravichandran. There hasn’t been a single news about the film’s release, although shooting was completed a long time back. The next to follow is ‘Leelai’ directed by debutant Andrew Louis. The film’s audio was directly supplied to markets and none of the crewmembers have met the media channels till the date.

Looks like, the continuous loss at box office must’ve urged him to stay away from grand affairs.
