Box office Bonanza for Kambakkht Ishq, as the film rakes in over 19 crores on its opening day.

Gross Collection Worldwide (first day):

4.5 million USD (19 crores)

2.4 million USD India (12 crore)

1.4 million USD overseas (7 crore)

Film heats up box office across Pakistan as well with 15 prints and all shows out. Kambakkht Ishq saw one of the widest releases for a Bollywood film in recent times and released across 2000 plus screens worldwide (with a combination of prints & digital). The film released across India, UK , US, Australia, Europe, South Africa, Fiji Island, Middle East, Malaysia and many others.

Earth shattering opening weekend and a historic week 1. Huge opening for Thursday's paid preview, it was 100% across all places! In Mumbai alone 62 screens paid preview garnered 100%. Friday most of the places early morning show i.e. 9.30/10 am. Show is 90-95%. Place like Rohtak in Punjab collected Rs 55,000 Net out of Rs 60,000 housefull capacity. place like Amritsar be collecting Rs 1 lac which is overcapacity by 200 -250 audience. Lucknow was around 90-95% morning shows. Audience Report very Positive.

    It is hard to believe that crap & utter rubbish movie like KI is considered as one of the big hits of this year! But it's true.This indicates.the poor standard of our hindi cinema and many small countries than us like Brazil,Iran are making 1000 times better movie than that of ours.
