Shahrukh Khan Rejects Ashutosh Gowarikar's Movie

Shahrukh Khan is a commercially successful actor. However one just couldn't get over his charm in 'Chak De India'! The actor who has earlier given a mind boggling performance in Ashutosh Gowarikar's 'Swades' the actor thinks that it didn't work for him at the box-office.

And so SRK has turned down an offer from the award winning director Ashutosh. Apparently King Khan was offered a role opposite Rani Mukherjee in Ashutosh's next film, which is again a period film, however Shahrukh wasn't too keen and rejected it.

We wonder who would be the second choice for the role, as for Rani Mukherjee looks like finally she is over the Yash Raj banner and we are certain Ashutosh will do some good for Rani's drowning Bollywood career.
