1908 - Sudhabala alias Ermaline was born in Bombay. She was a film actress. Her first film was 'Hothal Padmini' (1925). Some of her films are Kicks of Kismet, Tained Virtue, Red Signal, Wise Fool, Hoor-E-Bagdad.

1919 - Eva (Evita) Peron (born May 7) 1919 - Actress, wife of Argentina President Juan Peron, subject of the Broadway musical and film "Evita" 

1963 - Pramod Moutho (born May 7) is a Bollywood actor who has worked in various films like - Jodhaa Akbar, Mission Mumbai, Jodi No.1, etc

1965 - Chris O'Connor (born May 7) 1965 - Musician (Primitive Radio Gods) 

1967 -  Bobby Anand (born May 7) is a Bollywood Movie  Producer of various films like - Ravan Raaj: A True Story 

1969 - Ashwini Bhave (born May 7) is an Indian actress from a Maharashtrian Koknastha Bramhin family in Mumbai. She has worked in many Marathi films and some Hindi films. She has performed along with Madhuri Dixit-Nene in many countries. She is a Taurus, born on May 7th also shared by Ponni Chesser. Her work was appreciated in movie named Heena

1971 - The Rolling Stones released "Brown Sugar"in the U.S. It was the first record on their own label, Rolling Stones Records. 

1985 - Adoor Gopalakrishnan adjudged Best Director (Mukhamukham) in national film awards.

1991 - A judge in Macon, Georgia dismissed a wrongful death suit against Ozzy Osbourne. A local couple failed to prove their son was inspired to attempt suicide by Ozzy's music.

1999 - Lisa Stansfield made her film debut in the U.K. The film was the comedy "Swing." 
 
2003 - Pete Townshend was cleared of possessing pornographic images of children. He was placed on a national register of sex offenders for five years. Police determined that he did not possess images of child abuse but that he was guilty of accessing a child pornography Internet site in 1999.
