If South sensation and Bollywood newcomer Daisy Bopanna is to be
believed, then maverick Indian paceman S Sreesanth is "waiting for an
answer"

But what is the important question for which Sreesanth, who is sitting
out this IPL in South Africa for King's XI Punjab with an injury, is
hoping to get a reply? That, the coy actress, would rather not reveal.

However, if guesses are to be made, then the question has to be
related to a new-found affection that has developed between the
cricketer and the actress. Daisy, who had Bollywood hotties Akshay
Kumar and John Abraham chasing after her in Garam Masala, met
Sreesanth in Kerala when they shot for an ad film. "We became good
friends then," she revealed, "but now, we are more than friends."

Asked to elaborate, Daisy said, "He is a genuinely nice guy, and very
funny, a quality that I find attractive". She added, "He is also
totally a ladies man." That, everybody in Bollywood and Team India
knows. Sreesanth, at one time, sought to be linked to the gorgeous
Priyanka Chopra. Then there was talk of a relationship he had with TV
anchor Shonali Nagrani during the first season of the IPL. He also
showed a flirting interest in actress Surveen Chawla during a reality
dance show featuring Indian cricketers last year.

The commercial featuring Sreesanth and Daisy required the bowler to
propose to the actress with a rose. "I'm not supposed to respond to
his overtures," said Daisy. "But even after the shoot was over, Sree
would keep telling me that he is waiting for my answer!" The two kept
in touch and often, Daisy said, Sreesanth would SMS her saying he is
still waiting for an answer. "I laugh it off. I like him a lot, but it
isn't so easy to answer him instantly. I need my time," admitted the
actress who's supposedly got the bowler on the run.
