The public at Juhu Scheme junction got a dekko of Shreyas Talpade as a traffic controller the other day. And no, it wasn’t a role that he was playing for a film. He did really assume a traffic cop’s duties for a while when he had to deal with traffic woes one evening. Shreyas was stuck in a bad traffic jam at the Juhu Scheme junction because the traffic signals were dysfunctional and there was no traffic cop. It was all utter chaos there! Though Shreyas patiently waited for a while in his car, when he realized that the traffic wasn’t moving at all, he knew that he had to do something instead of just sitting there helplessly and waiting for the traffic to ease out. So, he stepped out of the car and joined a few volunteers in directing the traffic and solving the problem. And, of course, it worked. So if Shreyas really lands up a role of a traffic cop sometimes, he wouldn’t quite have to rehearse for it!
