History again repeated itself when apna Maharashtra ka gaurav Mangesh Mondol was disqualified from Dance India Dance quite like Paulson Thomas. Having had his hand fractured while performing a stunt, Mangesh couldn’t perform to his optimum best. Thus he was receiving flak for his performance from all the three judges. The lad was strictly advised by his doctor to rest his hand and not to perform for a while as it could aggravate the problem.

Geeta Kapur’s friend, guide, mentor; the ace choreographer and director, the very special Farah Khan agreed promptly to pay her a surprise visit on the sets of Dance India Dance. It was indeed very endearing to see a personality of such repute taking some time out from her forthcoming venture and her 3 tiny tots to spend some time with her fourth kid and assistant of over 15 years, Geeta Kapoor. Geeta was blindfolded but she recognized Farah just by her touch. Such is the bond of a guru and a shishya.
