Pryas Gupta, Rohan Gupta and Sandeep Hooda take the production seat under the banners of Vistaar Religare Film Fund, Walkwater Media and Alliance Media & Entertainment Pvt. Ltd to churn out the film titled, ‘Siddharth – The Prisoner’. Directed and written by Pryas Gupta himself, the movie stars Rajat Kapoor and Sachin Nayak in the lead.

Storyline:

The film is based on the preaching of Rig Veda that lets the people know that the renunciation is the path to freedom and enlightenment. The flick talks about a writer called Siddharth Roy, who is released from the prison and now he gets ready to re-engage into the world outside the jail. He pens down a book. And after writing this book, he thinks and expects that this new book will help him settle with his better half Maya.

But destiny has something else in story, as his briefcase carrying the manuscript of the book gets exchanged at a cyber café with some other briefcase, which contains a large sum of money. Now Siddharth’s only copy of the manuscript is lost and on the other side, the owner of the cyber café comes under huge pressure by the boss of a gang, who wants to have the lost money. Siddharth reach his home and reconciles with his three year old son with the help of the maid of the house and Roy later plans to acquire legal custody of his kid.

Since the cyber café’s owner Mohan is under pressure by the mobsters, he runs away from the place to hide himself at different locations. The movie tells the saga of how a web gets built out of the situations and Siddharth is trapped in the web of life.

Music has been composed by Sagar Desai whereas the cinemotographer is Mrinal Desai. Pryas Gupta, the producer-director-story writer of the film, also writes the script of the movie. The man really likes to show his all talents, as Pryas Gupta also pens the dialogues of the film along with Hitesh Kewalia.
