On Sunday, Prashant, Sanjay Dutt and his wife Manyata were supposed to have dinner at China House, Grand Hyatt in Kalina. However, Sanjay and Manyata reached China House in time but there was no sign of Prashant. After waiting for a few minutes, Sanju called Prashant but his calls went unanswered. A worried Sanju kept calling. This time, Prashant answered in a feeble tone, "I have gone for a toss. You were so right."
The story goes that Sanjay and Prashant had gone to Delhi last week, where Prashant took fancy to a Rotweiler pup. Sanjay did not like the dog at all, but Prashant wanted the dog at any cost. After a couple of days, Prashant bought the dog. The dog was flown in a Kingfisher flight. Our source said, "It cost Prashant about Rs 40,000 to get the dog to Mumbai."
So why did Prashant not turn up at China House on Sunday evening? The Rotweiler landed in Mumbai and went out of control. Somehow, Prashant managed to put him in the back seat of his Audi A6. Prashant decided that he would leave the dog at the petrol pump, which he owns in Bandra, and head for China House.

It was at this time that Prashant realised that Sanjay Dutt was calling him and answered his call. When Prashant briefed Sanjay about what had happened, Sanjay swung into action immediately. Sanju called up a dog controller. Then Sanjay, Manyata and the dog controller reached the petrol pump. The dog controller then successfully chained the Rotweiler with help from Sanju."
Manyata Dutt confirmed the news and said, "Yes, this incident did happen. Sanju helped Prashant and now Prashant has sent the Rotweiler back to Delhi."
We then spoke to Prashant who said, "I don't want to talk about this. I am extremely disturbed."
