Lahore Movie | Lahore New Upcoming Bollywood Movie

Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan's film Lahore focuses on the feud between India and Pakistan and hopes to offer a solution

At a time when Indo-Pak relations are at an all-time low, debutant filmmaker Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan is ready with his ode to the possibility of a friendship between the two nations. Lahore is Chauhan's dream project.
The film focuses on sports ties between India and Pakistan. But no, the film isn't about cricket. It tackles the lesser known sport of kickboxing using the game as a subtle metaphor for the feud between nations. Chauhan himself is an ace kickboxer says that it's his passion for the sport that fuelled his dreams for making a film on the subject. Says Sanjay, "My passion for sports and cinema found fruition in Lahore."
The film deals with the travails of two brothers who are sportsmen. In an exciting climax, the younger brother realises his brother's dream by actuating his vision of harmony and true spirit of sportsmanship. Friendship between the two nations emerges as the real winner in the grand finale played at
Lahore. The historic city becomes a symbol of peace and harmony. Sanjay says, "I hope Lahore offers the much needed healing touch to both the nations scarred by hatred. Peace is a unanimous wish. War, agitation, unrest are all emotions instigated by certain circumstances. But at the end of the day whatever channel we might adopt, we all strive to attain a singular goal — Peace!"
The cast comprises of actors like Farouque Sheikh, Ashish Vidyarthi, Nirmal Pandey, Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Sourav Shukla and Sushant Singh. Newcomer Anaahaad trained extensively in India and China for three years to prepare himself for the role of a kick boxer. Speaking about his choice of opting for a newcomer, Sanjay says, "I always felt that a newcomer would walk that extra mile for this role. I am very happy with Anaahaad's performance."
