Delhi 6 Release to be Postponed by Month

There is a strong buzz in the industry circles that music director A.R. Rahman is the reason for the postponement of Delhi 6 by a month. This Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor starrer film being directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and jointly produced by Mehra and UTV was to release on February 20th.

Our sources reveal, "Though the shooting part of the film is complete what is now left is the film's background score which is being given by the music maestro. But Rahman being an Oscar nominee and also being busy visiting the USA for the Golden Globe Awards ceremony earlier and now with the Screen Actors Guild Awards happening there, Rahman has hardly got any time to dedicate for Delhi 6. Now with less than a month left for the announced date of release, it seems less likely that he will be able to complete it on time. Thus, the delay."
