You may not know the name Diana Penty right now, but you will. Diana has replaced Bollywood actress and model Deepika Padukone as the brand ambassador for the Maybelline Cosmetics Company. The young model joins the likes of Adriana Lima and Christy Turlington as the face of Maybelline.
The model from Elite Model Management had this to say in a statement released on Monday, "I feel great to get this opportunity to endorse a brand that is so vibrant and truly multi-ethnic. For me it is not only about whom I am replacing but it's about being on the same platform as international models and get international exposure."
Diana is gorgeous, there's no doubt about that, but we can't help but notice the resemblance to Deepika. Hmm… wonder if that was the deciding factor behind her being named the new brand ambassador.
