It's possible to fall in love with your fiance's brother: Chitrangada

  Some people may find the plot of Onir's film Sorry Bhai outrageous, but actress Chitrangada Singh was amused by it.

The movie stars Sanjay Suri as the love interest of Chitrangada. She is set to marry him when she meets his younger brother, played by Sharman Joshi As Chitrangada and Sharman get to know each other well, they fall in love while Sanjay is only left twiddling his thumbs.

Speaking about the film's subject, Chitrangada told a news agency that she went 'wow' after hearing the script.

"Really, so many people ask me if I was shocked to know about the basic plotline of 'Sorry Bhai', that of a woman falling for the younger brother of a man whom she loves and is about to get married. I, in fact, went 'wow'. I was plain amused since this was a situation that I hadn't thought of," Chitrangada is quoted as saying.

Rather than being put-off by the plot, Chitrangada says she began thinking that it could be possible in life.

"I went into this entire thought process of thinking that 'ya, it could all be possible in real life'… My character in the film too falls out of love and the falls back into love with the younger. I really found the basic premise really interesting", said Chitrangada, who is making a comeback to Bollywood after a long gap.

In fact, so intrigued she was by the plot of 'Sorry Bhai', Chitrangada says she did not have to really think hard before saying yes to director Onir.

'Sorry Bhai' is also the first film starring Chitrangada in a light hearted role. She has so far acted in two films – 'Hazaaro Khwaishein Aisi' and Kal – Yesterday and Tomorrow – both of which were serious and intense roles.
