Madonna and Guy Ritchie headed for expensive divorce
Pop diva Madonna is ending her seven-and-a-half years of married relation with director Guy Ritchie.
The divorce is creating a lot of buzz because it can prompt a legal fight over the fortune of 300 million pounds (a grand sum which the couple possess) as till now no settlement has been finalized.
The latest reports have it that Guy may actually end up getting a sum total of 60 million pounds, some in cash and some in property.
According to thesun.co.uk, Ritchie will get about 20 mn pounds in cash. He will also get the 1,200-acre country estate, a pub in Mayfair (valued at about 2.25 million pounds) and the Ashcombe House estate in Berwick St John, Wilts, which is worth 10 million pounds.
While Madonna will get to keep her homes in New York and Los Angeles.
The couple got married in the year 2000 and has two kids, one is eight-year-old Rocco and another is adopted son David who is only of two years. Madonna even has a 12-year-old daughter Lourdes from his ex-husband actor Sean Penn.
Madonna is world's highest paid pop singer and her story of gaining great heights in pop kingdom is a fantasy tale.
The courtroom battle will also decide the fate of the couple's kids.
