Himesh Reshammiya has dropped plans to make a sequel to Aap Kaa Surroor. Instead, he is working with Suroor director and close friend Prashant Chaddha on a completely new film.

After the success of Suroor, Himesh had hinted at a follow-up to the same. However, it is now confirmed that the singer-turned-actor has scrapped the project.

Talkin' about scripts

Himesh has two scripts with him and is presently considering which one to make with Prashant. One of the scripts is about triplets, tentatively titled Tidwa. Himesh is quite impressed with the way the script has shaped up and is most likely go with it. The other project is a romantic drama.

A source reveals, "Himesh is very keen on starting a new film with Prashant. After Aap Kaa Surroor, Himesh gave himself a makeover and presented himself in a new look. His styling in Karzzzz is very different from Surroor with the trademark cap missing. Hence they decided not to go ahead with making another sequel and opted for a new story instead."

Himesh plans to start work on the film some time next year.
