Chintakayala Ravi is just average
Chintakayala Ravi .. Software Engineer is just an average movie with Venkatesth as the only hope for its fate. There is not enough comedy compared to any of the previous Venkatesh's movies but there are some good scenes in first half where Venky uses his typical comic expressions. All these will be forgotten by the end of the movie as the second half gets really boring and routine some times.
Most of the dialogs/comedy apply to the NRI's who are software engineers and living in the US.
Story:
In a line it is Shankar Dada MBBS with much less comedy
Screenplay and Direction:
The flow of the movie looks like the various parts of the movie has been put together in a wrong order. The director Yogie failed to use all the resources perfectly. 3/4 of the movie was shot in New York. He picked good locations for the scenes between Venky and Anushka.
Comedy:
Venkatesh did some good comedy in the first half of the movie but most of the comedy from all other comedians (Bramhanandam, Ali, Venumadhav, Sunil, Dhramavarapu, MS Narayana) is old and outdated.
Venky is good as usual. He runs the entire show. Also he wears all the brands from American Eagle to Armani Exchange. Anushka looks prett. Mamta Mohandas has a nothing except for a couple of songs. NTR and Venu are the special guests
Songs:
Songs and the picturization is just OK. 'Bagundhe' with Venky and Anushka is pretty good.
