Vaaranam Aayiram goodies up for grabs

Finally, there's good news for Tamil music fans and those who have been eagerly awaiting the album release of Vaaranam Aayiram, the Tamil family.

Four tracks from the movie have been given exclusively to 4 radio FMs, including Radio Mirchi, Big FM, SFM and an another station to be played on air. And they didn't stop with just that. They are also having contests on all possible mediums like TV, radio and newspapers for fans.

Nandini Raman, marketing head, Sony BMG says, "Vaaranam Aayiram, produced by Oscar films, is a musical in itself. The songs have been scored by Harris Jayaraj and the move is being directed by Gautham Menon. As a part of our marketing strategy, we have given exclusive rights of four audio tracks (there are seven in the movie) to four different FM stations."

"The idea is to make the album a hit even before the audio is launched on September 24. Personal memorabilia of the star cast will be given away to winners by Gautham Menon. It includes the guitar which Surya plays in the movie and the bag used by Sameera Reddy," says Nandini.
