With the beginning of the second season Indian Cricket League has made a definite victory over the Indian Players League as it has brought in Rakhi Sawant as the cheerleader for the new season. She, from the face of it, would not belong to a team, but would represent the league, and from this perspective it indeed is a monumental achievement for Rakhi Sawant. She indeed has arrived.

Her arrival has indeed been meteoric after participating in the BIG BOSS, JHALAK DIKHLAJA etc., and being a guest in Shah Rukh Khan anchored KAUN BANEGA CROREPATI. Her charm lies in her earthiness and this is what she has been capitalizing upon and scaling new heights in her career. She is also one of the first persons who have been candid enough to confess about the manner in which she has paced her career in the Hindi film world.

It was this candor, which was responsible for her getting a talk show of her own in the popular film channel Zoom. Zoom has been her acme of transformation from a blunt and outspoken person to suave and sophisticated damsel, but couching her candor and frankness in the veneer of sophistication. No wonder, she could get one of the biggest recluses of the film industry, Aamir Khan to appear on her talk show.

She was one of the guests in KOFFEE WITH KARAN who outwitted Karan Johar and forced him to speak with Rakhi in Hindi on his talk show, though it was a talk show where everybody most of the times spoke English. Probably she took off from KOFFEE WITH KARAN and has come out with flying colors in her show where she is profusely speaking English but with her own nuances.

With such a change that she has made in herself and her career, she fits the bills for getting selected as brand icon of ICL. Challenge for her is to use her charm to convert them into eyeballs for generation of revenue.
