As India wins boxing games at the 2008 Olympics, we take a look at stars who would make for the most exciting boxing match opponents.

Boxing down the foul joker
Part of the hottest spat in tinsel town, we bet Salman would love the opportunity to be in a boxing ring opposite SRK. Though the latter has now joined the brigade of six-pack heroes, we all know who’d emerge a winner here. And while we don’t hold anything personal against SRK, it just seems like Sallu deserves a chance to get back for a foul joke that he did not start. After all, who wants to get old skeletons out of the closet, even if they are the most beautiful ones across the globe?

Punching the PYTs
Another name that deserves a special mention here is Twinkle Khanna. Now even as all eyes are on Sallu for keeping a check on Kats’ co-stars, we bet Akshay Kumar’s beau feels in a similar way. Though she may have never been able to do anything the chemistry between Akki and his Pretty Young Things (PYTs), we bet an opportunity to knock out Priyanka and Katrina out of Akki’s life would make Twinkle’s day.


Knocking down Mr. Know It All
This is one match that literally stopped short of happening in front of the media. But even today, Salman ensures that he keeps Vivek on edge by mentioning its possibility every time he is asked about his animosity towards the actor. Now while we wonder whether Sallu’s opinion about battling it out with the once Mr Know It All can be altered, all we can say is – May the best man win!


Striking below the belt
One friendship that has gone sour to the extent of opting for a boxing match is Kelly Dorji’s and Dino Morea’s. Why? The hunk that he is, Dino stole Lara Dutta right under Kelly’s nose even as the trio spent most evenings together. While all of them have maintained a dignified silence, it takes little to understand who has been the biggest loser here. From what has been going in the past few weeks, it wouldn’t be too much to guess that the dusky lady has invited the wrath of Deepika Padukone. Coming from a family of sportsmen, we bet Deepika could give a tough competition to the strong and slender Bipasha in the boxing ring, thus leaving her black-eyed! With that, Ms Padukone can be sure that the sexy siren cannot eye Ranbir any further...

Though one of the cutest chocolate boys of Bollywood, Saif Ali Khan has been a ‘keeda’ and a big one at that in Shahid’s once happening love life. Having impressed his steady girlfriend on the sets of ‘Tashan’, Saif sure provokes the boxing instinct in the young Kapoor. And if the two were ever caught face-to-face in a boxing match, it is inevitable that the young Punjab da puttar would injure the invader in a free knock-out style. Mauja hi mauja all the way, eh?
