Shahid Kapoor has come a long way
Shahid Kapoor has come a long way since Ishq Vishq Pyar Vyar and the actor has not only improved in terms of his acting but also his physical appearance!
Gone are the days when method acting was only expected from a Hollywood actor! The trend of looking the part is on a rise and the latest actor to jump on the bandwagon is none other than the young heartthrob Shahid Kapoor.
Shahid has been losing weight for his forthcoming film ‘Kaminay’, directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, and is on a strict fitness regime for the same. In spite of looking amazingly fit in Kismat Konnection he hasn’t been satisfied!
“I think I have looked the best in Kismat Konnection but my role in Kaminay expects me to look thinner”, said Shahid.
Talking more about his fitness regime he said, “I work out for 5-6 times a week. I am a vegetarian and am on a fixed diet. I eat every three hours and eat food with no oil, no sugar. I believe to have a good body one doesn’t have a choice but to exercise. I have no favourite exercises as such, I just follow my trainer. I don’t have a gym at home but that doesn’t stop me from working out often. Also it’s not about which equipments you use to work out. It’s all about how much you can make your muscles work! I am happy to have a body that normally veggies find difficult to achieve!”
So who’s Shahid’s favourite when it comes to having best bodies? “Salman and Deepika Padukone are the fittest” believes Shahid.
Also is he fine with size zero women and men who have six packs? “I don’t think I need to discuss that! (size zero women) but as far as six packs are concerned if a role demands that it’s no harm getting them!”
