Tusshar plays Star News anchor
He has placed all his bets on his forthcoming film C Kompany . After the debacle of films like One Two Three and Agar , Tusshar is hoping that the latest film from the Balaji stable, C Kompany will make him earn the applause that he has been yearning for. “The success of Golma l has put me in the limelight and I’m glad that I’m a part of the sequel as well,” says an excited Tusshar.
But right at this moment its C Kompany that he is looking forward to. The buzz is that in the film Tusshar plays the role of a news anchor. “My character in the film is a lot like Shrivardhan Trivedi of “Sansani” fame. The anchor who is famous for his loud accent and peculiar mannerisms on screen has inspired Tusshar.
“I actually had my team burn the DVD’s of his show Sansani (on Star News). When Sachin Yardi, the director of the film told me that my character would be of a news anchor, I knew that it had to be exactly in Trivedi’s style.” The styling and the look of the character was done by Kapoor’s good friend Shabina Khan.
