Anupam Kher's 'plane' dreams!
Guess where we landed up last week? We went for a song recording, just for the heck of it. Music director Shamir Tandon was composing a song for a film titled Hawai Dada produced by Satish Kaushik. Anupam Kher plays the title role of Hawai Dada, an old man who wishes to fly some day. Kher's better half in the film is Tanuja. Now, that's some interesting casting. And crooning at the studio was KK, who rendered a soulful song - Bina pankh ka ek sapna. And then of course, there was the formation of a mutual admiration society, with KK profusely thanking Shamir for a wonderful song, and Shamir applauding his singing. All those compliments must've sounded like music to each other's ears
