Akshay Kumar turns down Salman Khan's invite 31st July 2008 19.43 IST
Nothing seems to be going superstar Salman Khan ’s way nowadays.
Salman has been making the headlines of late for all the wrong reasons. First he was in news for his spat with Shahrukh Khan on Katrina Kaif ’s birthday. Then it was reported that Katrina is splitting from Salman. Now, the actor has failed to get Akshay Kumar on his television show ‘Dus Ka Dum’.
Sallu had invited Akshay and Katrina on the show to participate in the contest and promote their upcoming film Singh Is Kinng . Akki and Kat appearing together on Salman’s show would have been quite a sight and would have boosted the show’s TRPs. However, things have not turned out as expected.
Akshay has turned down the offer. And the reason given is that he cannot appear on Sallu’s ‘Dus Ka Dum’ because he is already hosting the show ‘Fear Factor’ for a rival channel on television.
On top of it, Akshay hardly has time to do such appearances because he is extremely busy shooting his film Kambakht Ishq in Los Angeles. The actor shoots during days and does the promotional work of his movie ‘Singh Is Kinng’ in the evening.
