Dia Mirza in an angelic role
It’s raining angels in Bollywood. Well, at least in Bollywood films.
First it is Rani Mukherjee who claims she is making Bollywood history by playing an angel for the first time in the coming Friday’s release Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic . Now, it is Dia Mirza who has been signed on for an angelic role.
Dia, who has the face of a fairy, will play the female lead in actor Arshad Warsi’s first production, tentatively titled ‘I Believe In Angels’.
Arshad Warsi had previously approached actresses like Konkona Sen Sharma and the Naqaab girl Urvashi Sharma but eventually ended up roping in Dia.
Dia gave her nod to the project because she “fell in love” with her role and the film’s script in which “every character is beautifully written”.
The film is set to go on the floors in July. It would be directed by Kabeer Kaushik, who previously directed Arshad in the hard-hitting crime thriller Sehar .
