Saif Ali Khan gets too expensive for Farhan Akhtar
Saif Ali Khan has opted out of director Farhan Akhtar’s next film because the producer couldn’t pay the money the actor demanded.
The movie, titled Voices From The Sky , will be made under the banner of Excel Entertainment which is jointly owned by Farhan Akhtar and his good friend Ritesh Sidhwani. The movie marks the return of Farhan to direction after his Don .
The film would have also meant a reunion of Saif and Farhan who directed the actor in his hit film Dil Chahta Hai that catapulted Saif into a bigger league in Bollywood.
Farhan himself had said recently that he was very excited about working with Saif again in ‘Voices From The Sky’. But the actor, it seems, is keeping the emotions aside and being professional to the hilt.
Reports have it that Saif demanded an exorbitant fee to act in the movie. As Ritesh Sidhwani, the producer, couldn’t afford the fee, he declined Saif’s demand.
Saif has now opted out of the film and search is already on for a suitable replacement.
The film’s shooting is set to begin from October this year.
