Rab Ne Bana di Jodi Shooting starts

Aditya Chopra 's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi went on floors from Friday,
marking the return of the filmmaker behind camera after a gap of eight
years.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and debutant Anushka Sharma faced
the camera for the 'mahurat' of the film at Filmcity in suburban
Mumbai on Friday.

SRK had a good run at the box-office in 2007 with hits like Chak De
India and Om Shanti Om .

Despite being busy with his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders and
television show `Kya Aap Panchvi Pass Se Tez Hai', the King Khan
appeared chirpy and relaxed.

"Starting the first day of shooting still gives me goose bumps," he
said while interacting briefly with media persons.

Veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra was also present at the mahurat shoot.

"To make films with Yash Raj, that too when Adi (Aditya) is directing,
is an experience that is more than 100 per cent exciting. Yashraj
Films is, and will always be, home for me and who does not love coming
home," SRK remarked.

SRK said Yash Chopra and Adi have always given him roles that have
been appreciated and loved by fans all over the world.

"This time Adi has again written a character for me to play that I
think will become as beloved as Raj of DDLJ ( Dilwale Dulhaniya Le
Jayenge )," he said but declined to divulge details of his new role
and film.

Newcomer Anushka said she was eagerly looking forward to shooting with SRK.

"My dream has just begun," she said.
