Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and his partner Manyata have told a Mumbai court that they cannot prove the validity of their marriage legally.

In an application filed before the Sessions Court on April 7 challenging the order of issuance of process against the two, Dutt and Manyata have stated that their reported marriage in Goa is a nullity.
On the other hand, their marriage by Hindu rites is also not considered valid since Manyata is a Muslim.
Conclusively, the couple cannot be viewed as married.
