The model-turned-actor has launched his own modelling agency called ICE to create supermodels

Almost every actor is either turning into a producer or venturing into direction. But not Upen Patel. The Brit-born actor is launching a modelling agency — ICE, in partnership Nupur Sagar.

Upen admits that he has plans to start ICE but says, "It's too early to talk anything about it right now."
A source close to the actor however spills the beans "Upen is very keen about the project as he feels that with his knowledge of modelling and all his contacts with the top models and agencies, this will be the right business for him. Upen wants to work with the best, and has also approached some of his ex-girlfriends like Shivani Kapoor."

Branched out
 
The agency will have branches in Bangalore and Delhi, and an international segment, which will bring in models from Brazil, London, Germany and South Africa.

Nupur who has been on the production side of the fashion industry for the last nine years, says, "We will be providing quality models and will be aiming at ramp, TV commercials and print. ICE has nothing to do with movies. Upen and I want to get the glamour back into the fashion industry and take it to a completely different level. We are a modelling agency that is looking out for quality models. We recently auditioned around 200 models and selected only 20 from the lot. We are selecting by individual auditions and
