Once a much in demand actress, especially after multiple successes /
acclaimed performances in films like 1942 - A LOVE STORY, BOMBAY,
KHAMOSHI and DIL SE, Manisha Koirala is cutting a sorry figure today.

If the disastrous fate of her comeback film TULSI is any indication,
it is hard to imagine that the talented actress would actually be
bouncing back ever in near future. Such poor was the fate of TULSI
even before it's release that it didn't even get an all-India release.
To rub salt to the injury, this stuck-in-the-cans film didn't even
feature Manisha Koirala in the promos and focused entirely on Irrfan
Khan. Ironic, since it was in fact Manisha who played the title role
of TULSI.

The film has come and disappeared within a week's time with zero hopes
of anything working in its favor even in satellite or home video
circuits. A comeback which has proved to be a disaster for Manisha
Koirala, one can only hope after TULSI, there is a much more lucrative
project that the actress selects next.
