The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's former boyfriend Salman Khan who
will soon be a waxwork at Madame Tussaud's, London, is just metres
away from her.

According to Madame Tussaud officials, Salman's figure will be placed
in the New Bollywood area.

This is the area where three other Bollywood superstars Amitabh
Bachchan , Ash and Shah Rukh Khan 's wax statue are already there.

Salman will not be part of the interactive section of the museum like Brad Pitt.

Salman has been authorised by the jail authorities to travel to London
to unveil his wax statue on January 14.

Salman beat nine other Indian mega stars including Madhuri Dixit and
Abhishek Bachchan to be immortalized at the world famous attraction
after a public poll conducted this summer.

Salman, was chosen after a poll to choose the next Bollywood Star was
conducted by Madame Tussauds in August 2007.

Over 10,000 votes were received, with Salman the clear winner.
