Ranbir Kapoor, son of Rishi Kappor and Neetu Singh who is all set to make his debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘ Saawariyan’, has been signed by none other than Yash Raj Films for its forthcoming venture to be directed by Siddharth Anand of Ta Ra Rum Pum fame. Only Ranbir has been finalized for this new film while the other cast members are being finalized. Siddharth Anand, who has grown up with the charming newcomer, is very excited about working with him as the role not only fits him perfectly but also Ranbir’s enthusiasm can work wonders for the shooting of the film.

As Siddharth says, ‘ Yes, I am directing Ranbir in my next film. We are currently looking for the rest of the cast. In fact, Ranbir is the only one we have finalized so far. Ranbir is as excited about the script and the film as we at Yash Raj are. It’s encouraging for a filmmaker to have such an enthusiastic actor. I am loving every moment of this new project.’

It may be recalled that Ranbir’s parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh had earlier worked in Yash Raj Films’ Kabhie Kabhie and the movie was a super duper hit at the box office. Will the son repeat parent’s success? Well, let us wait and watch!
