Actor Dhanush came along with his wife Aishwarya and Mrs. Latha Rajnikant. Director K. Balachander, Ministers Dayanidhi Maran, and M.K.Stalin attended the function.
There were a lot of other celebrities in the function like Nadiya Moythu (who acted as Jayam Ravi's mother in M.Kumaran S/o Mahalaxmi), Narain, Manzoor Ali Khan, actresses Saranya, Nalini, Devayani and Sandhya.
Director Priyadarsan attended the marriage reception along with his wife and yesteryear actress Lissie.
