Samajwadi Party's Rampur candidate Jaya Prada's hotel was raided by the local police late on Monday night spelling more troubles for the actress-turned-politician.

However, details of the raid have not been disclosed by the local administration.

Jaya Prada's hotel was raided shortly after she accused senior party leader Azam Khan of distributing her fake nude posters to malign her image.

The actress had also requested the Election Commission to take action against Azam Khan and his supporters for maligning her reputation just before polls in the Rampur constituency.

Meanwhile, the police action has irked the supporters of Jay Prada, who allege that some influential people are trying to spoil her reputation.
