Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra Wednesday won the Star Screen Awards 2008 for the best male and female actors.Hrithik got the honour for his lead role in "Jodhaa Akbar" while Priyanka won it for her role in Madhur Bhandarkar's "Fashion".The period movie "Jodhaa Akbar" directed by Ashutosh Gowariker also won the best film award at a late evening function here.

All that matter is boxoffice and now Look at Ghajani boxoffice in JUST 2 weeks OVER 200 cror....wow.....no match for THE REAL KING OF BOLLYWOOD AAMIR KHAN period.
how have they decided the best singer (male) award...i mean KHWAJA MERE KHWAJA was the best out of all the nominations !! A R Rahman sang it....Khuda jane was nothing in front of Khwaja Mere Khwaja....all bullshit..!

ReplyDeleteWell, I've always thought that if Aamirji thinks nothing of these awards, his team should not forward his name to be nominated for Best Actor anymore. It's such a waste of time to award someone who won't appreciate the honour even if he got it anyway. So even though I think Aamir's a great actor, he should follow Lata Mangeshkar's example and take his name off the list next time.
